PAST METEOROLOGICAL SITUATION & FUTURE FORECAST BY PMD
Synoptic Situation: A Deep Depression is currently located over eastern Madhya Pradesh. It is expected to move westward and weaken into a Depression during the next 24 to 36 hours.Under the influence of this Deep Depression, monsoon currents are continuously penetrating the eastern and central parts of Pakistan.

WIDESPREAD RAIN WINDSTORM/THUNDERSHOWER (WITH SCATTERED HEAVYFALLS AT TIMES VERY HEAVY) is expected in Dir (Upper & Lower), Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Buner, Bajaur, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai-Palas, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi, Mohmand, Charsadda and Nowshera districts. SCATTERED RAIN WINDSTORM/THUNDERSHOWER (WITH ISOLATED HEAVYFALLS) is expected in Chitral (Upper & Lower), Peshawar, Khyber, Kohat, Kurram, Orakzai, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Tank, D.I Khan, North and South Waziristan districts. Mainly hot and humid weather occurred in most parts of the province. However, isolated rain-thunderstorm occurred in Swat and Abbottabad districts.
