Synoptic Situation: Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea & Bay of Bengal are penetrating in upper parts of the country, and are likley to strengthen from tomorrow. A westerly wave is also likely to affect parts of the country from tonight.

Rain-windstorm/thundershower is likely in Chitral (Upper & Lower), Dir (Upper & Lower), Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Buner, Bajaur, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai-Palas, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi, Mohmand, Khyber, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kohat, Kurram, Orakzai, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan districts. · Scattered heavyfalls at times very heavy and isolated hailstorm is expected during the period. Rain-windstorm/thundershower is likely in Chitral (Upper & Lower), Dir (Upper & Lower), Swat, Shangla, Malakand, Buner, Bajaur, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai-Palas, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi, Mohmand, Khyber, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kohat, Kurram, Orakzai, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan districts. · Scattered heavyfalls at times very heavy and isolated hailstorm is expected during the period. Mainly hot and humid weather occurred in most parts of the province. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm (with isolated heavyfalls) occurred in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Swat, Dir (Upper & Lower), Bajuar and Kurram districts.
