Synoptic Situation: Moist currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating in upper parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is also likely to affect upper parts of the country from tomorrow.

Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the province, while very humid and hot in plain/southern parts of the province. · Isolated rain windstorm/thundershower is expected in Chitral, Dir (upper and lower), Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Kohistan (upper and lower), Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Mohmand, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Khyber, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Bannu, Kurram, Orakzai and North Waziristan districts during evening/night. · Heavyfalls may occur at few places during the period. Mainly partly cloudy and humid weather is expected in most parts of the province. · Rain-windstorm/thundershower is expected in Chitral, Dir (upper and lower), Swat, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Kohistan (upper and lower), Kolai Palas, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Torghar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, Peshawar, Khyber, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, D.I Khan, Tank, Kurram, Orakzai, North and South Waziristan districts. · Heavyfalls may occur at few places during the period. Warning • Heavy rains may cause landslides in vulnerable areas of upper parts of the province. • Heavy rains may cause Urban/flash flooding in, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Mardan and Swabi during the period. • Windstorm & lightning may damage weak structures (solar panels, electric poles, bill boards etc.) during the forecast period. Mainly hot and humid weather occurred in most parts of the province. However, rain-wind/thunderstorm occurred in Mansehra district.
