Synoptic Situation: Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea & Bay of Bengal are penetrating in upper parts of the country, a strong westerly wave is also likely to enter in upper parts today.

Mainly hot, humid and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province. Fairly widespread to scattered shower rain-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy fall) associated with gusty winds is likely to occur over Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Shangla, Upper & lower Dir, Swat, Bajaur, Mohmand, Malakand, Buner, Mardan, Swabi and Nowshera districts during evening/night. Isolated rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is likely to occur over Chitral, Peshawar, Charsadda, Khyber, Kurram, Orakzai, Bannu, Hangu and Kohat districts during evening/night. Moderate to heavy falls may increase the water flows in local Nullahs / streams of the province. Mainly hot, humid and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred in Lower Dir, Chitral and Swat districts.
