Synoptic Situation: Monsoon currents from Arabian Sea & Bay of Bengal are likely to penetrate in upper parts of the country from today, whereas a westerly wave is also likely to enter in upper parts on 23rd August.

Mainly hot, humid and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province. Scattered rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is likely to occur over Upper & lower Dir, Bajaur, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Swabi and Nowshera districts. Isolated rain-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is likely to occur over Chitral, Peshawar, Charsadda, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Orakzai, Hangu, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat and North Waziristan districts. Isolated dust storm is likely to occur over plain areas of the province, especially in Bannu division. Mainly hot, humid and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province.
