| Synoptic Situation: Monsoon currents are continuously penetrating in the country from Bay of Bengal. A westerly trough is also affecting upper parts of the country that may persist during next few days.

| Scattered to widespread wind//thunderstorm-rain with isolated heavy falls is likely to occur over most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Heavy rain may cause urban flooding in low lying areas of Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, DI Khan, Bannu and may trigger landslides in the vulnerable areas of Swat, Chitral, Dir, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kurram and Khyber districts.
Heavy rain may also cause flash flooding in Swat, Chitral, Dir, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kurram and Khyber districts. Windstorm may damage loose infrastructures like solar panel, electric poles etc. in Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, Charsadda, DI Khan, Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts. |
