Synoptic Situation: A westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist till 18th May.

Hot and partly cloudy weather is expected over most districts of the province, while very hot in southern districts. Wind-dust/thunderstorm rain with isolated hailstorm is likely to occur over Chitral, Lower & Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Orakzai, Kurram, Hangu, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, North & South Waziristan, Tank & Dera Ismail Khan districts in evening/night. Hot and partly cloudy weather is expected over most districts of the province, while very hot in southern districts.
