| Synoptic Situation:
A westerly wave is approaching western parts of the country today and likely to grip most upper and western parts during next 24 hours which may persist in upper parts from 11th to 13 January. |

| Cloudy and cold weather is expected in most districts of the province.
light rain with light snowfall over the hills is likely to occur over North & South Waziristan, Tank, Bannu, Kurram, Khyber, Mohmand, Charsadda, Bajaur, Chitral, Lower & Upper Dir, Swat, Buner, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra and Abbottabad districts during night.
Drizzle may also occur over Peshawar and surrounding areas.
Shallow fog in isolated pockets is likely to occur over Peshawar to Swabi motorway during late night. |
Rain (with moderate to heavy snowfall) is likely to occur over Chitral, Lower & Upper Dir, Malakand, Buner, Swat, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber and Kurram districts.
Light to moderate rain with light snowfall is also likely to occur over Haripur, Swabi, Mardan, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Orakzai, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, North & South Waziristan districts.
Shallow fog in isolated pockets is likely to occur over Peshawar to Swabi motorway during morning hours. |
Cold and partly/cloudy weather occurred in most districts of the Province. However, isolated rain occurred in Swat, Buner, Chitral and Khyber districts. |
