Synoptic Situation: Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A shallow trough of westerly wave is affecting western and norther parts of Balochistan and likely to grip upper parts on Wednesday (night).

Mainly cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in most districts of the province, while very cold in upper parts/hilly areas. Rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in North & South Waziristan, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Bannu, Laki Marwat and Kurram districts. Shallow fog in isolated pockets is likely to occur over Peshawar to Swabi motorway during night hours. Rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Battagram, Torghar, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Swat, Lower & Upper Dir, Chitral, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Charsadda, Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Orakzai, Kurram,, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, North & South Waziristan districts. Very cold and dry weather occurred in most districts of the province.
