Synoptic Situation: Dry continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country, whereas a westerly trough is likely to approach the western/upper parts of the province from today evening/night.

Mainly dry weather is expected over most districts of the province, while hot during daytime in plain areas. Rain-wind/thunderstorm is expected over Chitral, Dir (Upper & Lower), Swat, Shangla, Bajaur, Buner, Malakand, Battagram, Kohistan (Upper & Lower), Kolai Palas, Torghar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, ?Mardan, Mohmand, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowsehra, Khyber, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Orakzai, Kurram, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, North & South Waziristan districts during evening/night. Hailstorm may also occur at isolated places during the period. Mainly dry weather is expected over most districts of the province.
